What makes you the best person to help me loose weight when all other methods have failed?
The fastest and most efficient way to change your body shape is a combination of healthy nutrition combined with a moderate exercise programme. I can deliver both these to your door, as I am one of the very few people qualified in both nutrition and personal training. Combined with my coaching skills I will also make sure that you stay on track and achieve the body you have only ever dreamed of!
But I have tried many low calorie diets before and they did not work!
This is not a diet. You will not be counting calories just eating healthy clean nutrient dense food. When you cut out too many calories, you send your body into starvation mode. A very-low-cal regimen, in the 400- to 800-calorie range, the metabolism falls by 15 to 20 percent. Eating fewer than 900 calories a day also prompts your body to burn desirable muscle tissue as well as fat, which slows your metabolic rate even more.
But I’ve had a personal trainer before and I did not achieve the results I had hoped for!
Chances are your personal trainer was young…a lot younger than yourself. I myself am 47 years old and a busy working Mum. A younger trainer is not going to work because they don’t realize the limitations of our bodies, as we get older such as aching joints, fatigue, and sluggish metabolism. I believe I understand what you can -and can’t- handle. As I work with you I will always encourage you to achieve, and will never push you past the point you want to quit. When people see what I’ve done and how hard I work at my age, they realize they can do it, too.
But I don’t like gyms!
It is not necessary to go to the gym. I come to your home or if you so require I have a private studio in Hove.
I don’t have the time or the patience for hours of working out!
Don’t worry; the workouts I will deliver consist of HIT training (High intensity training) that means short sharp bursts of exercise that kick-start your metabolism. That’s less time exercising for you while burning maximum calories and shaping and toning the muscles. What’s more the body continues to burn calories throughout the day as you continue with your daily activities. Included in the 45 minute sessions are 15 minutes of stretching to
Why do I need to workout at all can’t I just change my diet?
Your metabolism slows down by 5% each decade. Compared to age 25, you will burn about 100 fewer calories a day at 35 and 200 fewer at 45. Do nothing and you could gain 8-10 lbs a year. After 35 muscle mass diminishes, between age 50 and 70 people lose 30 percent of their muscle mass and after the age of 40 our bone density decreases. Making matters worse, many women unwittingly sabotage their calorie-burning potential with crash diets, ineffective exercise strategies, and other metabolism-busting habits.
How long will it take to see results?
You will start to feel changes straight away from the workouts. By 2 weeks you will already be seeing results. Your body awareness, strength and energy levels will increase dramatically by 6 weeks of training. When you follow my nutrition plan, you can lose 2-5lbs per week of body fat and replace it with lean muscle tissue.
