Karen has truly helped me get my life more on track.
I wanted to lose weight and I knew only too well that certain foods and too much beer drinking were hindering me. I needed guidance, a plan and to find what exercise would get the best results!
The weekly nutritional guidance helped me back in the right direction. As the low GL plan is a way of eating for life, there is no starvation, no yo-yoing. It is sensible eating and guidance how to cut out those things that are causing troubles such as excess weight, cravings and other health problems.
I had developed rosacea over the past year. By sticking to the GL diet and being guided by Karen my skin truly began to heal with in 4 weeks. I was very impressed. I also began to feel more energised and less in need of coffee to keep my day going.
I think that the coaching side of things has been key to the whole process, as previously I just could not seem to get motivated on my own each week. In knowing the coaching was there I was able to avoid my main addictions: Beer, Coffee and Bread! I had times when I indulged, there was no guilt factor to this process but it helped me stay in control.
I have learnt a lot, lost weight and feel better. I have a plan for a continued healthy lifestyle, which Karen’s kind and informative weekly coaching has set in place.

By coming on Karen’s nutrition and fitness course, it gave me the motivation and support that I lacked when trying to implement these changes on my own in the past.
When I’ve felt like giving up, this time I didn’t just feel I’d be letting myself down but the whole support network of the group, the other participants and Karen as mentor. The group established comradery through our shared experience.
I’ve learnt about nutrition and new exercise regimes, which work and have shown results.
The course has given me a solid foundation to uphold and continue the new practices in the future.

Not having much motivation to get fitter on my own, also being on antidepressants and not sleeping, this was the kick-start I needed.
Although being the largest in the group, I didn’t feel at all self-conscious and found it an asset to be training with a small group who all had different nutritional and fitness problems.
Being a nutritionist and personal trainer Karen gave us classes on the nutritional side of the diet and also circuit training, which were enjoyable. She taught us the way in which foods work together to gain the best benefits and high sugary foods to steer clear of. I was amazed at how much you were able to eat.
In the 4 short weeks I have lost over half a stone and over 4 inches off my waist.
I now feel so much fitter, have changed my diet for the better and my mood and motivation have improved. I am also sleeping better.
A big thanks you to Karen for all her hard work with us and I hope to do another course with her in the New Year. I would definitely recommend Karen’s classes if you want to change your life for the better.
